Google has finally released the awaited update to its search indexing technology. Caffeine provides 50 percent fresher results for web searches than our last index, and it's the largest collection of web content we've offered. Whether it's a news story, a blog or a forum post, you can now find links to relevant content much sooner after it is published than was possible ever before," the company said in a blog post. The real question is how this may affect the businesses and nonprofits of all sizes that have heavily invested in search engine otimization (SEO). Google has asked for those that have made such investments to monitor their search rankings. It is unknown if the Caffeine technology is reindexing the entire web as we speak or is being phased in over time (The caffeine technology has been in developement since 2009).
Evo Networks believes that those that invested in "true" SEO services that relate to soild meta tags and content writing as well as clean site structure will benifit the most, while those that invested in tricks and secrets will suffer.
