During Microsoft's Las Vegas developer conference they had an early stage version of the next Internet Explorer (IE9) web browser. IE9 is shaping up to be the most web standards compliant Microsoft browser yet but, but one thing is certainly missing - Windows XP support. That's right. All those business who are quite happy with windows XP will have to either, switch to Firefox to continue to enjoy the latest features of the web or upgrade to Windows 7. More importantly however is the security issue. Once the new IE is launched you can be sure that the previous versions will get minor security and bug fixes. Since IE in general is one of the biggest doors for hackers in the first place, even switching to firefox still leaves an old Swiss cheese IE awaiting attach on your XP computer.
With this in mind, Evo Networks advises that all windows users make the jump to the latest Windows 7 OS (business edition) when IE 9 is officially released or move to Apple's Mac Platform.
