Google has now opened their own app store to small businesses and orgainzations who use their Google Apps to create and share documents.

We expect the Google App Store to grow fairly quick (not itunes quick) as all the apps will be available to an exisiting base of 2 Million google app users. For developers there will be a one time $100 app submission fee and a google only keeps 20% of the app sales. This low barrier to entry should get google to "there's an app for that" over the next 12 to 24 months. For more information on google apps, go here.
